Private Sector Working Group D (PSWG-D) Meeting

• IBCC President Mr. Babulal Parihar and Board of Director Mr. Sharvan Rao attended the Private Sector Working Group D (PSWG-D) meeting along with representatives from various international chambers and the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce (CCC).
• During the meeting, IBCC raised the concerns of Indian pharmaceutical companies regarding two key issues: “Tax on Free/Sample Goods” and “Allowing of Flexible Discount Rate”.
• These concerns were well received by the Working Group and appreciated by other attendees, as they are also relevant to other industries beyond pharmaceuticals.
• The discussion reinforced the importance of addressing industry-specific challenges to improve the business environment for international and local companies in Cambodia.

The meeting highlighted the collaborative efforts needed to resolve industry challenges, fostering a more favorable business environment in Cambodia.
